There’s been a Willie Randolph sighting. As expected, the Mets ex-boss made a “surprise” appearance in the Yankees’ Old-Timers Game today. Randolph talked about what it’s like to be unemployed and how it feels to watch from afar as the Mets have rebounded under Jerry Manuel. Note that Randolph conspicuously left out Carlos Delgado’s name when discussing the players he liked. Somehow, this omission doesn’t surprise us in the least.
