The Yankees received good news on the injury front today with Brett Gardner.
X-rays on the left fielder’s injured right wrist showed no break and he was diagnosed with a bruise. The Yankees are listing him as day-to-day.
Gardner, who is batting .321, was hit by a pitch from the Dodgers’ Clayton Kershaw in the third inning Sunday and was removed from the game in the fourth.
