Adam Warren is back for another stop with the Yankees after signing a minor league deal, a source confirmed Tuesday.

Warren, 33, missed all of last year while coming back from Tommy John surgery. He last pitched in June 2019 with the Padres and spent time in the Yankees’ system again last year. He is expected to be ready for spring training.

Warren, who was drafted by the Yankees in 2009, pitched last for the Yankees in 2018, when he had a 2.70 ERA in 24 appearances.

From 2013-15, Warren made 146 appearances for the Yankees before he was traded to the Cubs ahead of the 2016 season.

The Yankees reacquired Warren in July 2016 in the Aroldis Chapman-Gleyber Torres trade. They then traded him to the Mariners in July 2018 for international bonus slot money.
