ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Not every X-ray or MRI exam taken of a Yankees’ body part reveals an injury that lands the player on the injured list.

Fortunately, that was the case with Gleyber Torres, who had his right arm X-rayed after getting hit with a pitch by Rays pitcher Casey Sadler in the eighth inning of the Yankees’ win at Tropicana Field on Friday night.

Torres remained in the game, but feared there was something wrong with his arm after he was drilled on the inside of the elbow.

“You get hit by a pitch in the elbow, that’s not a good feeling,’’ said Torres, who played with a sleeve on the arm for Saturday’s 7-2 loss in which he went 2-for-4 and got caught off second base. “I am good. I don’t feel bad.’’

When it happened, Torres flashed back to 2017, when he injured his left elbow plowing into home plate in a minor league game and needed Tommy John surgery.

“I always remember [that],’’ Torres said.

Torres threw and hit before the Yankees took batting practice.

“It’s a little sore, but it’s normal,’’ Torres said.
