TAMPA — The Yankees are refuting a published report that executive vice president Felix Lopez has been let go.

“Felix Lopez has not been fired from the Yankees,’’ a senior official told The Post on Saturday night. “He has been away for a personal reason.’’

Lopez, the husband of George Steinbrenner’s daughter Jessica, is in his sixth season as executive VP/chief international officer. He oversees the operations for George M. Steinbrenner Field, the nearby minor league complex and the Single-A Tampa Yankees, who play in the Florida State League.
