Yankees reliever Pedro Feliciano saw Dr. James Andrews on Monday in Pensacola, Fla., where Andrews recommended a conservative treatment program instead of surgery on Feliciano’s left, throwing shoulder.
Feliciano will remain with the team and begin a shoulder strengthening program immediately.
Feliciano has not pitched this season, and is on the 60-day disabled list with a torn capsule in the shoulder. Surgery would end his season.
