MINNEAPOLIS — Edwin Encarnacion fouled a ball off his left foot in the ninth inning of Wednesday night’s 10-7 win over the Twins and winced in pain, but that didn’t stop him from blasting a milestone homer and getting a gift from his Yankees teammates.

After being attended to by trainer Steve Donohue, Encarnacion remained in the game and launched a solo homer. It was Encarnacion’s ninth homer with the Yankees and gave him 30 for the season. It’s the eighth straight year he has hit 30 or more homers.

As for the left foot, it was sore.

“I am good, see [Thursday] how it feels,’’ Encarnacion said.

When Encarnacion, who tours the bases after homering with an invisible parrot perched on his right arm, got to the dugout, there was a fake parrot waiting for him courtesy of Gleyber Torres.

“It looks nice,’’ said Encarnacion, who credited hard work in the off-season for hitting 30 or more homers in eight straight seasons.
