Yankees general manager Brian Cashman wouldn’t comment on Mariano Rivera’s knee woes other than to say the complications discovered when he visited doctors Monday will not have an impact on Rivera being able to come back next season.
Surgery to repair the torn ACL and meniscus in his right knee has not been scheduled, yet.
“We ran into complications,’’ Rivera’s agent, Fernando Cuza, told The Post on Monday. “I am referring to Dr. Ahmad and [Yankees general manager] Brian Cashman for further information.’’
Rivera is expected to be at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday.
