The deciding game of the ALDS between the Yankees and Guardians was postponed by rain in The Bronx on Monday night and will be made up at 4:07 p.m. on Tuesday.

The winner will move on to play the Astros in the ALCS. Game 1 of that series is set for Wednesday in Houston.

The rainout could give both teams more pitching options, as the Yankees were slated to start Jameson Taillon and Cleveland Aaron Civale, with the Yankees’ trusted arms in the bullpen having been heavily taxed.

But it also puts whichever team wins Tuesday at a serious disadvantage against the Astros, who clinched their ALDS win over Seattle on Saturday and will be well-rested in the next round.
