With less than three weeks remaining until the end of the signing period for selections from June’s First-Year Player Draft, the Yankees have signed 20 of their 49 picks. Despite that, though, they haven’t signed three of their top four picks: first-rounder Slade Heathcott, second-rounder J.R. Murphy and fifth-round Caleb Cotham. The Bombers have signed five of their nine picks through the first 10 rounds, six picks from rounds 11-20, four picks from 21-30, three picks from 31-40 and one pick in the last 10 rounds.
