The Yankees have interest in A’s pitcher Justin Duchsherer, ESPN.com reports.

It isn’t known if the team wants the oft-injured former All-Star to be a starter or reliever.

According to the report, Duchsherer, 33, has battled clinical depression and pitched 28 innings over the past two seasons while dealing with injuries.

A free agent, he is 33-25 with a 3.13 ERA in his career. He made the AL All-Star team in 2005 as a reliever and in 2008 as a starter.
