Steve Pearce’s run as the Yankees cleanup hitter lasted one game.

Pearce was surprisingly hitting fourth in his Yankees debut on Tuesday night against the Blue Jays, but was dropped to sixth after going 0-for-2 with a walk. With Toronto starting a lefty, J.A. Happ, for the second straight day the Yankees move Andruw Jones up to fourth.
