Oswaldo Cabrera continues to stand out in the field, no matter where the Yankees put him.
A night after making a highlight-reel grab in right field to rob a home run, Cabrera made another stellar catch on Saturday afternoon from his post at third base.
In the third inning against the Blue Jays, the rookie ran into the rolled-up tarp along the third-base wall to snag a foul pop-up by Jackie Bradley Jr. Cabrera was a bit shaken up after the collision, and received a visit from Aaron Boone and a trainer. He appeared to escape with just a bloody nose, though, and remained in the game.
With his smooth defense, not to mention three hits in three games entering Saturday, the 23-year-old Cabrera is quickly endearing himself to Yankees fans in his first week in the big leagues.
