Andy Pettitte’s representatives, Alan and Randy Hendricks, arrived at the GM Meetings in Indianapolis this morning, but not necessarily to talk to the Yankees about the veteran lefty.

Randy Hendricks told the Post they talk to GM Brian Cashman on a regular basis and there was no need to set up something formal this week.

“I have been talking to Cash quite some time about Andy playing in 2010,” Randy said. “If we work out a deal he will play. We are working on it.”

Pettitte turned down the Yankees one-year, $10 million offer earlier in the week, but he remains the Yankees’ top free-agent priority this offseason.

“We’ll see if we can get something done,” Randy said. “It’s always a process, we have to work through stuff.”

Randy and Alan also represent flame-throwing Cuban defector Aroldis Chapman, whom the Yankees have interest in.

“We are talking to teams about Chapman. A lot of teams are interested in him,” Randy said.

Also in Indianapolis this morning is Hideki Matsui’s agent Arn Tellem, who has meetings scheduled with the Yankees to discuss the World Series MVP and if he has a future in The Bronx.
