Yankees pitchers Domingo German and Luis Severino had their homes outside Tampa burglarized last year, authorities say.

Hillsborough County officials said that the two Yankees’ homes were broken into during last year’s regular season, on dates in which they had home games in New York, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Four burglars allegedly stole “multiple purses and watches valued at approximately $20,000” from German’s home in Thonotosassa, about 15 miles northeast of Tampa, on Aug. 19 of last year, according to an affidavit cited by the outlet.

The suspects were reportedly seen on surveillance footage wearing masks, gloves and hoods and exiting the scene in a Penske rental vehicle.

Hillsborough police officials said that this incident was “similar to another residential burglary” that took place at Severino’s home on June 1 and 3.

Over $300,000 of jewelry and other items were stolen from Severino’s home, which is is in Tarpon Springs, about 30 miles northwest of Tampa.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, authorities have linked the two burglaries through a search warrant affidavit that connected one suspect to both scenes.

“Based on the multiple links between the Hillsborough County burglary of Domingo German’s residence and the Pinellas County burglary of Luis Severino’s residence … it is likely the burglaries were committed by the same group of suspects,” the warrant said.

The 29-year-old Severino has pitched for the Yankees since 2015 and the 30-year-old German has pitched for the team since 2017.

The Yankees play their spring training games in Tampa.
