Opening Day in The Bronx got pushed back by a day after rain forced the postponement of Monday’s Yankees-Astros game at the Stadium. It was the Yankees’ first postponed opener since 2008.

The game will be made up on Tuesday at 1:05 p.m.

Fans who had paid tickets for Monday’s game can use them on Tuesday or exchange them for any regular-season game at Yankee Stadium through the end of the regular season, subject to availability.

The forecast for Tuesday is better, if colder, and fans are still encouraged to get to the game early because of increased security.
