The Yankees promoted right-hander Dustin Moseley from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and optioned lefty reliever Boone Logan to Triple-A.

Moseley, 28, had a July 1 out in his contract, and when other teams called Brian Cashman about him, Cashman knew that if Moseley wasn’t brought to the big leagues he wasn’t returning to SWB.

“He was throwing the best but the contract clause gave us urgency,’’ Cashman said of Moseley, who was 4-4 with a 4.21 ERA in 12 games (all starts) for SWB. “I got calls from other teams. He was going.’’

Moseley has an 8-7 big league record and 5.41 in 64 games. He appeared in three games for the Angels last year.

“There were some things in play if they didn’t make a move for me. Either way (Thursday) was going to be exciting,’’ Moseley said. “I ended up where I wanted to be though, for sure.’’
