Andy Pettitte’s return will be delayed one more day after the Yankees were rained out Tuesday.

The game will be made up as part of a day-night doubleheader Wednesday with the first game starting at 1 p.m. followed by the regularly scheduled game at 7.

Pettitte, who has missed nearly three months with a broken ankle, will start the early game on Wednesday and David Phelps will re-join the rotation to start the nightcap. Phil Hughes’ start has been pushed back till Thursday.
