The Yankees have been scouting Reds pitcher Johnny Cueto and were joined Tuesday night by talent evaluators from AL East rivals the Blue Jays and Orioles in Washington, where the Reds played the Nationals.

The right-hander put on a show, throwing a complete-game, two-hit shutout in the Reds’ 5-0 win over the Nationals on Tuesday night. His dominant outing also included 11 strikeouts and one walk.

Cueto is 6-5 with an impressive 2.61 ERA.
