The Yankees made an addition to their bullpen — for 2022.

Matt Bowman, a right-hander who underwent Tommy John surgery in September, signed a two-year minor league contract with the Yankees, a source confirmed.

The 29-year-old will rehab from the surgery next season, with an expected return for 2022.

Bowman was drafted by the Mets in 2012 out of Princeton and reached Triple-A in 2014 and 2015 before the Cardinals took him in the Rule 5 draft in 2015.

He pitched for three years in St. Louis and appeared in 75 games in 2017 before struggling with blisters on his pitching hand in 2018. He was claimed off waivers by Cincinnati and appeared in 27 games in 2019 with the Reds, but was sidelined this past season by the strained elbow that led to Tommy John surgery.
