The Yankees will have a video tribute to George Steinbrenner before Friday’s game against the Rays to celebrate his life and recognize his passing.

There will also be a moment of silence for Steinbrenner and longtime PA announcer Bob Sheppard, who was laid to rest on Long Island today. It will be the Yankees first home game since both legends passed away in the last week.

Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 6:45 for the ceremony.

There will be further tributes and ceremonies before Old-Timer’s Day on Saturday.
