Aaron Judge has a red-hot bat, so it makes sense that he’d try the hot corner.

The Yankees slugger took some reps at third base during warmups ahead of Tuesday’s series opener against the Red Sox at Boston’s Fenway Park.

Judge smiled as he fielded grounders, flashing some decent backhand capabilities and making throws to second.

Third base has been a massive void for the Yankees this season, with veteran Ryan McMahon struggling to find offensive consistency.

Judge, meanwhile, has been up to his old tricks as the everyday right fielder, swatting nine home runs and adding 16 RBIs as the Bombers’ tone-setter in the lineup.

“There’s probably something to that,” manager Aaron Boone said of the Yankees’ tendency to follow Judge’s lead at bat after sweeping the Royals.

“I think when the captain gets it going like he can in the first — a lot, it feels like — it does seem to have a little bit of an effect on things.”

A move to the infield likely isn’t imminent, but it’s it’s always good to have an extra trick up your sleeve — especially if that trick involves Aaron Judge.
