The rained-out May 11 New York Yankees at Detroit Tigers game has been rescheduled for September 1, 2008 at 1:05 p.m. at Comerica Park.

The date was open for both teams and it will be the start of a ten-game, four-city road trip that takes the Bombers to Detroit, Tampa Bay, Seattle and Los Angeles.
