The Yankees signed Joba Chamberlain to a one-year, $432,575 contract. If he were sent to the minors, Chamberlain would be paid $234,000.

The Yanks also signed Alfredo Aceves for $406,750.

Meanwhile, the Mets signed Daniel Murphy ($401,000), and also Nick Evans ($403,000), Robinson Cancel ($408,000), Rocky Cherry ($406,000), Sean Green $471,000), Eddie Kunz ($400,000), Jon Niese ($400,000), Bobby Parnell ($400,000), Conner Robertson ($400,000) and Brian Stokes ($409,500).
