A 13-year-old boy was shot while playing basketball in the Bronx Thursday evening, sources said.

The teen took a bullet to his left knee on the court at the Hunts Point Playground at Faile Street and Hunts Point Avenue around 5:45 p.m., according to law enforcement sources.

The shooter fled the scene and was still at large.

The young victim was expected to recover from the broad daylight shooting.

Sources said the teen was likely the intended target in the shooting.

It was the second time a teenager was shot on a city playground in less than a week.

A 16-year-old girl was struck in the head by a stray bullet in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn last Friday while hanging out with friends after school.

In the Brooklyn shooting, cops were still looking for three suspects that fled the scene on Citi Bikes.

Kyla Sobers, a junior at the Cobble Hill School of American Studies, was recovering from the incident, her uncle told The Post.
