The Nets went shooting with their first pick and size with their second in the first round of the 2021 NBA Draft.

After selecting LSU scorer Cam Thomas at No. 27 they nabbed North Carolina big man Day’Ron Sharpe at No. 29.

Sharpe, 19, averaged 9.5 points and 7.6 rebounds in his one season in Chapel Hill.

The Post’s Brian Lewis reported that the Nets loved Sharpe, who was viewed as a lottery pick before the year. He cleans the glass, moves better than most his size and even guarded some power forwards, as sign of his agility.
