Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards is feeling remorseful after using homophobic comments in a now-deleted Instagram post.

Edwards, 21, tweeted an apology on Sunday for calling a group of people “queer” in an Instagram story video that he appeared to film from inside of a car.

“Look at these queer ass n—-s, man,” Edwards can be heard saying in the clip, which showed a group of people standing across the street from the vehicle. “Look at what the world done came to, bruh.”

A woman can also be heard laughing in the background.

“These n—-s different,” Edwards, the 2020 No. 1 overall pick, wrote over the video with crying-laughing emojis.

The video later emerged on social media after Edwards deleted it.

“What I said was immature, hurtful, and disrespectful, and I’m incredibly sorry,” Edwards tweeted Sunday. “It’s unacceptable for me or anyone to use that language in such a hurtful way, there’s no excuse for it, at all. I was raised better than that!”

The Timberwolves said they were “disappointed” in Edwards in a statement on Monday.

“We are disappointed in the language and actions Anthony Edwards displayed on social media,” the team said in a statement attributed to team president Tim Connelly. “The Timberwolves are committed to being an inclusive and welcoming organization for all and apologize for the offense this has caused to so many.”

The NBA is reviewing the matter, a league spokesperson told The Post.

The NBA has previously fined Nets star Kevin Durant and Nikola Jokic, the 2022 NBA MVP, for homophobic comments made by the players in 2021 and 2018, respectively.
