Draymond Green claimed a fan said “threatening stuff” to him in Milwaukee on Tuesday. The fan tells a very different story.
Mike Shane, a Bucks fan, was ejected from Fiserv Arena in the third quarter of Milwaukee’s 128-111 win after the Warriors star complained to referees. According to Shane, it was run-of-the-mill trash talk and Green simply couldn’t handle it.
“I said, ‘Draymond, we giving you a pass.’ He said, ‘What pass?’ I said, ‘Man, we giving you a pass.’ He said, ‘You ain’t s–t. What pass?’ I said, ‘Man, we giving you a pass,’” Shane said on the “KJ Live” podcast. “Evidently, he was ready for it. He was waiting for that to happen. He blew it out of proportion, actually. I don’t know how he could take that as a threat.”
Shane claims he engaged the former Defensive Player of the Year as retribution for punching Jordan Poole, Green’s teammate and a Milwaukee native.
“I was speaking up for the city of Milwaukee,” Shane said. “Basically telling him, like, we’re giving you a pass. We haven’t forgotten about what you did — a big bully — and we’re giving you a pass.
“We forgive you.”

Mike Shane claims his trash talk wasn’t threatening and that it was retribution for Green punching Jordan Poole. NBCS Bay AreaGreen’s half of the exchange was caught by TNT cameras, though Shane — who collected numerous high-fives on his way out of the arena — had witnesses in his corner.
“There was two police officers who were actually right there,” he said. “There was a police officer and the league security who came back there and vouched for me. They were right there and said I didn’t use any profanity, I didn’t say anything malicious.”
The Bucks reportedly sided with the fan, refunding his ticket and offering him courtside seats for a future game.
Green, meanwhile, was ejected from Wednesday night’s loss the Pacers.
