Carmelo Anthony reached another NBA milestone.

The former Knicks star became the 18th player to reach the 26,000-point mark in the Portland Trail Blazers’ 120-112 loss to the Mavericks in Dallas on Friday.

Anthony, who scored 22 points in the loss, now has 26,014 points in his career. This season he is averaging 16.5 points per game to go along with 6.3 rebounds per contest.

Next up is Kevin Garnett, who finished his career with 26,071 points. Barring an injury, Anthony will be moving up a few more rungs this season. If he ups his scoring pace just a little bit, he could pass Dominique Wilkens (26,668 points) and move into 13th place on the all-time list by season’s end.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the all-time scoring leader with 38,387 points. The only active player ahead of Anthony is LeBron James, who is fourth on the all-time list.

Luca Doncic, the NBA’s newest big-name star, was impressed by the milestone.

“Aw, it was great he is special,” Doncic told Fanatics View. “He is still a walking bucket. It’s beautiful to watch.”
