MIAMI — Knicks center Tyson Chandler will return to the lineup on Tuesday night vs. the Heat after missing 10 games with a bulging disk in his cervical spine.
The Knicks have overcome the loss of Chandler, and fellow big man Amar’e Stoudemire, to win eight straight games. While Chandler is returning, the Heat will sit LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Mario Chalmers.
Chandler revealed Sunday that he nearly took an epidural injection Wednesday because the pain had become “excruciating.” However, a spine specialist he met with recommended a new form of therapy to alleviate the sensations running from his neck into his shoulder.
