Matt Barnes is used to having the NBA in his pocket, but his latest fine has him ranting because he claims this latest fine for cursing at a fan was unjust because he was responding to profanity directed at him by Suns owner Robert Sarver.

Barnes and the Clippers routed the Suns – one of Barnes’ former clubs – in Phoenix on Sunday, and the league fined him $25,000 for cursing at someone in the stands during the contest. It elicited an amusing Twitter rant:

OK, so Barnes didn’t snitch and got no stitches; instead he said he was unfairly fined. But he’s making $3.396 million this season, so he’ll be all right. Still, after this fine and another $25,000 fine earlier in the season, he joked he will have to go get a second job.

We love “8 Mile.” And though Costco doesn’t pay a much, at least their workers got Thanksgiving off.
