What Kardashian curse?

Even during a game of arcade hoops, Devin Booker’s got a hot hand. The Phoenix Suns star faced off against Kylie Jenner in a shooting contest over the weekend, where he didn’t spare his girlfriend’s sister one bit. Instead, Booker set a new record in “Super Shot,” a pop-a-shot style game, and Kendall Jenner got the whole thing on tape.

Booker and Jenner, both right-handed shooters, went head-to-head in matching white t-shirts. It’s unclear if Kylie’s crop top hindered her shooting ability. At one point in the video, which has since made its way around social media, Booker was winning, 87-61.

After Booker handed Jenner a tough loss, and discovered his new high score accolade, he can be seen yelling in victory. Meanwhile, Jenner was just as stunned.

“Wow. Oh my God,” she said.

Drake didn’t rap about Booker’s shot for nothing. In Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode” (2018), he spits the now-famous lyrics: “See the shots that I took / wet like I’m Book.” Kylie Jenner and Scott share a daughter together, 3-year-old Stormi Webster.

Booker’s Super Shot skills almost emulated his on-court performance with the Suns — who have managed to hold onto the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference with just five weeks left in the regular season. The Suns star is averaging an impressive 26 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game.

Therefore, the “Kardashian curse” has yet to bog down Booker. The longtime fan-developed theory suggests that any male suitor who becomes involved with the Kardashian-Jenner sisters is doomed in his career.

Booker, on the other hand, is thriving on and off the court.
