Draymond Green is fed up.

The Golden State forward has been the subject of repeated jabs from NBA legend Charles Barkley this season amid the Warriors’ league-worst record. And on Friday, he fired back at the “Inside the NBA” broadcaster.

“Barkley should stop before I take his job though. Because I can do that job too,” he told reporters.

“He also can’t talk basketball with me either. Not smart enough, not qualified, no rings. Can’t sit at this table.”

Barkley has continually mocked Green’s “triple-single” statistical averages this season, most recently indulging after the three-time champion was tossed from a game against the Lakers on February 27.

“Draymond don’t talk as much since he’s averaged that triple-single,” he said on “Inside the NBA” in January.

Green is averaging 8.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 6.2 assists per contest, the fourth time in his eight seasons that he has averaged the “triple-single” benchmark, including during the Warriors’ run to the Finals last year.

The Green-Barkley’s beef is nothing new. In 2018, Barkley said, “I just want somebody to punch him in the face.”

Green shot back then, too.

“The fact of the matter is — if you feel that strongly about something then punch me in my face when you see me,” he said after a playoff win against the Pelicans. “If you’re not gonna punch in my face when you see me then shut up.”

Green and the Warriors — who have been without Klay Thompson for all of this season and Stephen Curry for 58 games until he returned from injury on Thursday — currently occupy the basement of the Western Conference with a woeful 14-49 record.
