Another young Knicks player is putting in work with one of the NBA’s all-time greats, and is apparently impressing.

Last week in Los Angeles, newly acquired Knicks guard Tim Hardaway Jr. worked out with “big bro” Dwyane Wade, and the 25-year-old impressed the 35-year-old.

Wade, a 12-time All-Star and three-time NBA champion, spoke with SNY about the progress Hardaway has made in his game.

“The one thing I’ve seen in [Hardaway] is he’s working. He works tirelessly on his body and game. He’s gotten so much better since he was first in NY. Same name but different player.”

Wade has been a big supporter of Hardaway in the past. When Hardaway signed his eye-opening, four-year, $71 million deal to leave Atlanta and return to the Knicks, Wade tweeted his approval, saying that real players understand his value.

Hardaway is coming off his most productive season, posting career highs in points per game (14.5), field goal percentage (45 percent) and three-point percentage (35 percent).

Hardaway’s workouts with the future Hall of Famer come on the heels of Kristaps Porzingis working out with his own future Hall of Fame mentor, Dirk Nowitzki.
