The woman accusing ex-Brooklyn Net Darius Morris of assault says the baller’s counterclaims against her are just a “desperate attempt to retaliate,” new court papers show.
Kristen Summer filed a response to Morris’s “vague” and “barebones” assertions against her late Thursday, just hours after he submitted his claims in Manhattan Supreme Court alleging she caused him to fear for his life and sent him and his family death threats, according to documents.
“Morris is going to lose this case,” Summer’s lawyer, Alexander Cabeceiras, wrote in court papers asking the judge to toss the player’s claims. “He beat [Summer] terribly and mercilessly.
“Now, in a desperate attempt to retaliate against [Summer], defendant Morris brings four frivolous claims,” Cabeceiras said.

He also accused her of interfering with his basketball contracts and inflicting emotional distress on him, court papers show.
Morris was arrested in April 2020 on charges of assault, harassment and obstruction of breathing or blood circulation involving Summer. He allegedly repeatedly kicked and hit her and put his hand over her mouth, according to a criminal complaint.
Morris also was separately charged with violating an order of protection against her when he reportedly showed up in the hallway outside of her apartment a few weeks after the alleged attack. He was released on both criminal cases, which are pending.
Morris’s lawyer, Richard Berne, told The Post by e-mail, “Needless to say, we will be opposing this motion, and the court will decide if it has any merit.”
