The Beard returns. It sounds like a superhero movie, but it’s the Nets movie right now. James Harden returns to the lineup Wednesday and boy, does Brooklyn need him heading into the playoffs. In typical Nets fashion, they will be without Kyrie Irving, who was hit in the face Tuesday night and is dealing with a facial contusion. Nonetheless, it seems (knock on wood) that the Nets will enter the playoffs with their Big 3 on the court together, even if they battered and bruised their way to get here.

To talk about the Nets’ final three games, the return of Harden, and whom they might take on in the first round of the postseason, we bring you a new episode of “Fullcourt on Flatbush” with Robin Lundberg and Kerry Kittles, featuring a chat with Chris Shearn, YES Network Nets pre- and postgame host, as well as our NY Post Yankees “Pinstripe Pod” host.

Fullcourt on Flatbush Podcast with Robin, Kerry & Jake:

  • HARDEN RETURNS: Harden returns to the lineup Wednesday and he is much-needed for the Nets heading into the playoffs. Which superhero is each one of the Big 3? Will we see the Big 3 for the final two games of the season? Kyrie Irving needing a mask on the court for his facial injury.
  • PLAYOFF MATCHUP: Nets should not have any problem with any of their potential first-round playoff opponents. Playing the Knicks is still a possibility. How important is it for the Nets to end up getting the No. 2 seed?

  • KERRY’S NETS: Looking back to Kerry and Jason Kidd in the backcourt, Kerry dominating at Villanova. Those Nets teams were the original lob city in New Jersey. Kidd deserves a lot more credit than he gets.
  • CHAMPIONSHIP OR BUST: Nets have to win a title with this team, especially with what the Knicks are doing right now.
  • MARV ALBERT/YES NETWORK: Working with some iconic broadcasters. Marv passing the baton to Ian Eagle. Being a sponge sitting around Ian. Starstruck sitting next to Marv, like Kerry when he guarded Michael Jordan and Clyde Drexler.
