Ben Simmons is going to eat his words come playoff time if the 76ers and Nets end up facing each other in the Eastern Conference finals. The Nets have not been able to keep the Big 3 on the floor much at all, but if they are all out there come playoff time, Simmons will realize that one ball with three of the best players on the planet will be enough. Sixers-Nets could get spicy.
To talk about Simmons’ comments, Nets-Sixers, Kevin Durant’s monster game Tuesday, the KD-Shannon Sharpe Twitter beef and more, we bring you a new episode of the “Fullcourt on Flatbush” podcast with Kerry Kittles and me, filling in for Robin Lundberg. Former Nets guard Kenny Anderson and The Post’s Brian Lewis joined the pod.
Fullcourt on Flatbush Podcast with Jake & Kerry:
- KEVIN DURANT/WIN OVER TIMBERWOLVES: Tremendous game in Minnesota. So fun to watch him go to work. Bruce Brown is a key role player for this team.
- STANDINGS/SIXERS: Kerry thinks anything can happen, Bucks can still catch the Nets. Sixers-Nets Wednesday does not mean a lot with players out, but it will get physical, especially after Simmons’ comments. Was he wrong for saying what he did? Will it come back to bite him in the playoffs?
- KD vs. SHANNON SHARPE: Reading through the tweets and the beef between them. KD will go after you in tweets if you come at him. He uses this as fuel when he goes out on the court.
