Giannis Antetokounmpo has been leading the way as the Milwaukee Bucks have been putting together a potentially historic season, one which has provided hope of an NBA championship run.
Any title dream would be shattered if Antetokounmpo were sidelined, and the Bucks have a concern on their hands. The 25-year-old MVP suffered a left knee sprain during Friday’s road loss to the Lakers, and the team announced he’ll miss the next two games.
The Bucks finish their road trip Sunday at Phoenix and Monday at Denver. Milwaukee begins a four-game homestand Thursday against the Celtics.
The Greek Freak was having another MVP-caliber season. His 29.6 points per game was third-best in the NBA entering Sunday, and his 13.7 rebounds per game was fourth-best in the league.

But above all else, the Bucks must ensure Antetokounmpo is not compromised during the playoffs to have any chance at winning it all. If he’s not 100 percent, the Eastern Conference could be wide open.
