Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo has been upgraded from doubtful to questionable ahead of Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

After hyperextending his knee in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Atlanta Hawks, Antetkounmpo missed the final two games of the series. The injury occurred when he attempted to block a Clint Capela dunk and landed on the Hawks center’s foot. He then had to be helped off the court and escorted to the locker room.

Head coach Mike Budenholzer told reporters that Antetkounmpo had a “good day” at practice on Monday, though did not elaborate when pressed for details.

Instead, he said that Antetkounmpo was “making good progress.”

Before the injury, the Greek Freak was having a stellar postseason for the Bucks. In 15 games, he has averaged 28.2 points, 12.7 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game. However, in Antetkounmpo’s absence, Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez, and Jrue Holiday were able to turn in spectacular performances to push the Bucks past the Hawks in the final two games and earn the franchise’s first NBA Finals appearance since 1974.

The Suns, though, are significant favorites to capture the title over the Bucks with Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Tuesday night.
