Here we go …  Tony Allen is fighting teammates again.

The Grizzlies swingman — known for being a hard-nosed, physical defender — was suspended for the team’s 93-82 home loss to the Jazz on Tuesday night for a violation of team policy.

According to the Memphis Commercial-Appeal, the suspension resulted from a “physical confrontation” he had with backup point guard Nick Calathes in a recent practice.

This isn’t the first time Allen has had a run-in with a teammate. In 2011, he mixed it up with O.J. Mayo on the team airplane. According to Yahoo!, Allen hit an antagonistic Mayo when the latter refused to settle a debt from a card game.

The brouhaha between Allen and Calathes came before the team’s third loss in four games, meaning the Grizzlies are mired in a mini-slump. They dropped a road contest to the lowly Kings last week and scored only 79 points in a home loss to the Clippers.

“This is a game we should have won. It was a bad loss,” Calathes said on Tuesday night. “They played better than us. That’s a game we needed to win no matter who we had on the court. We’re all capable of stepping up.”
