It’s a tale as old as time: Boy meets girl, boy and girl play basketball, boy pops the question on the court.

After challenging longtime love and former UNC Greensboro guard Brey Dorsett to a game of one-on-one, Canadian basketball pro, Alex “Superman” Johnson, made sure it would be a match she’d never forget.

Taking a cue from the 2000 flick “Love & Basketball,” in which Omar Epps and Sanaa Lathan put their hearts on the line over a game of hoops, the 27-year-old gets down on one knee after faking an injury while attempting a layup.

And just like a Hollywood ending, Dorsett says yes.
