The New York Knicks’ 25-year conference final appearance drought could end tonight with a win over the Boston Celtics.
During Monday’s Game 4, the Knicks bounced back from a disastrous Game 3 loss with another big second-half comeback. They held the Celtics to a series-low seven offensive rebounds and turned 13 offensive rebounds into 15 second-chance points. The Knicks are now favored to reach the NBA Finals following the Game 4 win.
The Celtics suffered a major setback in the last minutes of Game 4, when star Jayson Tatum exited the game with a lower leg injury. Yesterday, the team announced that Tatum underwent surgery to repair a torn achilles.
