Scorned fiancée to the rescue!
To prevent Nick Young from embarrassing himself, let alone their relationship, any further, Iggy Azalea stopped her future husband from inking a misspelled tat across his back. The Australian pop star took the liberty of recounting the misadventure on Twitter Wednesday night.
“Guys, I wanna let you know. Nick cant spell and if it wasnt for the LOVE i have for him. He would have ‘BORN REBLE’ tatted across his back,” Azalea tweeted to her 6 million followers.
“I came in half way thru his tattoo and noticed ‘BORN REBEL’ looked different to the way i remember it,” she continued. “He really is lucky i mentioned it to him, I was gonna be petty and not say.”
While Young thanked Azalea for coming through in the clutch, it also appears that the 30-year-old Lakers guard is making his way out of the doghouse.
Young’s engagement with Azalea was called into question after a video showing him admitting to infidelities made its way online. And while Azalea is still rocking her six-figure sparkler, she also put her fiancé and his privates on notice.
“I already said one more video, just one more thing and you will lose a quarter of your meat,” Azalea shared on the “Orlando & The Freakshow” radio show earlier this month. “I’m not cool with it. … Like you’ll have half a penis.”
