The Jason Kidd trade is about to become reality. “It appears it’s a go,” Nets team president Rod Thorn said.

This deal has taken every conceivable turn but for now, it’s on again — as of 7 p.m., Thorn said he was “pessimistic” about the trade’s chances.

The Mavs get Kidd, Malik Allen and Antoine Wright. The Nets get Devin Harris, DeSagana Diop, Trenton Hassell, Maurice Ager and Keith Van Horn after a sign and trade, plus two first rounders, $3 million cash and a couple trade exceptions.
