James Harden was a little too hard on himself.

The Houston Rockets star tried to get one last shot off before the end of the first half Saturday night against the New Orleans Pelicans but his shot was blocked by Josh Hart. Harden was so frustrated that he slammed the ball on the court, and the ball bounced up and hit Harden in the face.

The blunder drew a hilarious reaction from Hart, one of the players the Pelicans acquired from the Lakers in the Anthony Davis trade. Hart stared at Harden as Harden walked away, befuddled by Harden’s gaffe.

Harden hasn’t been sharp to begin the season. He shot 8-for-29 Saturday after making just two of 13 shots in the Rockets’ season-opening loss to the Bucks on Thursday.
