Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic isn’t playing at the moment, but still made headlines after Portland’s 129-98 loss to the Pacers Sunday night.
Nurkic, who’s been sidelined with plantar fasciitis since last month, came face-to-face with a Pacers fan sitting courtside and tossed his phone before they exchanged words.
Viral videos from the fiery moment show Nurkic leisurely walking over to the fan, before grabbing his phone, while a security guard tried to intervene.
It’s unclear what led to Nurkic approaching the fan, or what went on after the clip ended.
The Bosnian big man did not address media after the game. He did, though, take to Twitter to share photos of his burgundy look while sidelined at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Nurkic is averaging 15 points and 11.1 rebounds this season in 56 games — and has 30 double-doubles.
Portland is also without All-Star guard Damian Lillard, who has been out since early January with an abdominal issue that required surgery. Forward Nassir Little underwent season-ending shoulder surgery in February. The team also traded star guard CJ McCollum to the Pelicans last month.
