On second thought, Russell Westbrook is a top-five teammate of Kevin Durant’s.
Durant just didn’t list him there initially.
On the “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast, the Nets superstar was asked to list his top five teammates ever. He listed Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. Then Durant paused for a few seconds.

The hosts were surprised, telling Durant they figured he would pick someone else for that last spot.
“I forgot somebody?” he asked
When they reminded him of Westbrook, Durant added Westbrook.
“Oh, s–t I am tripping. Russ, yeah,” Durant said. “I did forget about Russ. Russ would definitely be in the top five.”
Durant and Westbrook were teammates for eight years with the Thunder, and reached the NBA Finals once. Durant left the Thunder for the Warriors in free agency after the 2015-’16 season, winning two titles with Curry and Thompson. Westbrook would win the MVP the following season and the two have had a frosty relationship since Durant left.
Durant now teams with Irving and Harden as the trio looks to lead Brooklyn to a championship.
