The Toronto Raptors fan base didn’t bathe itself in glory when some cheered Kevin Durant’s injury during Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Monday night.

But one anonymous Raptors fan tried to make it right on Tuesday, sending a floral arrangement to the Warriors offices to apologize “on behalf of Canada.” The classy gesture also had a ribbon that read “Canada is sorry KD” placed across it.

“Dear KD and the Warriors: I can’t even believe those dumbass Raptors fans cheered when they saw you were injured,” the card read, via NBC Sports. “I was watching the game and felt horrible. It was a total disgrace. I hereby apologize on behalf of Canada. Prayers for recovery.”

Warriors players were incensed at the Toronto fans’ reaction to the injury after they kept their season alive with a 106-105 victory. Game 6 is slated for Thursday night in Oakland.

“It was bulls–t,” Golden State guard Klay Thompson seethed to reporters. “That was freaking ridiculous. I can’t even put into words how mad I was about that.”

It turned out Durant suffered an Achilles injury, the severity of which is still unknown.
