The Warriors had the No. 2 pick Wednesday night, but they’ll be holding their breath in the coming days over a much bigger worry.

Klay Thompson is feared to have suffered a “significant” Achilles injury to his right leg Wednesday, according to Yahoo Sports.

Thompson is scheduled for an MRI Thursday morning.

Thompson missed all of last season with a torn ACL in his left knee, but the Warriors were expected to be back contending for a title with a healthy Thompson, Stephen Curry and Draymond Green.

Even his rivals were expressing concern over his new injury Wednesday night.

“Praying a lot @KlayThompson is cool!! Like it’s super minor,” LeBron James tweeted.

“This is nightmarish! This is nightmarish!” ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith added on SportsCenter before the 2020 NBA Draft.

The 30-year-old Thompson, one half of the Splash Brothers, averaged 21.5 points on 46.7 percent shooting — including 40.2 percent from 3 — during the 2018-19 season. He tore his ACL in Game 6 of the NBA Finals against the Raptors, then signed a five-year, $190 million max contract last summer.

In the same series, his then-Warriors teammate Kevin Durant suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon and missed the entirety of the 2019-20 season, suggesting Thompson may be in for another long absence.
