The Knicks on Friday announced their mini two-game preseason schedule in which they will play both games against the Nets.

The first will be Dec. 17 in Newark (2 p.m.) followed by the Dec. 21 contest at the newly refurbished Garden (7 p.m.).

There already have been five college basketball nights at the Garden but Dec. 21 will mark the Knicks’ first visit to the transformed arena.

The regular-season schedule will be announced Tuesday on NBATV.

The NBA on Friday confirmed the Knicks will open with Boston on Christmas Day, the first game of the entire NBA 66-game schedule.
